Style

Real Moments. Real Emotion. Real Life.

When you look back at your photos five, 10 or 50 years from now, I want them to remind you of how the moment really felt at the time - not how you felt when the photographer told you to strike a certain pose or stand in a particular way.

It’s for this reason that I photography with a more ‘documentary’ or ‘reportage’ style.

Documentary with a splash of the classic

First and foremost, have no fear if you’re someone who says ‘I hate having my photo taken!’

You’re certainly not alone - believe me.

In fact, I can guarantee that the vast majority of people feel exactly the same way!

But remember: it’s my job to make you feel totally relaxed, at ease and comfortable in front of the camera.

As soon as we’ve taken the first few photos, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll forget I’m even there!

When you look back at your stunning wedding photos in years to come, you’ll remember the experience and say ‘actually, that was so much fun - I wish we could do it all again!’

We’ll still spend a bit of time making some beautiful portraits of you both, plus a few group shots if required (these are the photos that parents and grandparents tend to want most, after all!), but for the most part, you’ll be left to focus on what’s really important: sharing your special day with your family and friends.

And while you’re busy getting the celebrations underway, I’ll be seeking out every smile, laugh, hug and tear, using my cameras to ensure these precious memories are documented forever.

If you’re clear in your mind that you don’t want any posed shots at all, that’s totally fine with me! Full-on documentary style will result in a collection of incredible, real images.

My aim is clear: intervene as little as possible to allow YOUR wedding day to play out naturally.
