Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Hopefully your question is answered below. If it isn’t, drop me an email at hello@robswanphotography.co.uk - thank you!

Do you cover all of Kent?

Absolutely. I’m based in Sittingbourne but more than happy to travel to anywhere in the county.

Will you travel outside of Kent?

Yes! I’m also happy to travel outside of Kent.

Travel to locations outside of Kent may incur an additional fee to the overall price, depending on the distance and whether accommodation is also required.

How much do you charge?

Please check out my latest prices here. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, drop me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

How can we book with you?

Simply fill in the form here and I’ll check availability.

If the requested date is free, I will then require a completed and signed contract, plus a non-refundable deposit.

How much is the deposit (wedding)?

A £200 non-refundable deposit will be required to complete the booking.

When does the remaining balance need to be paid by?

The remaining balance must be paid 28 days (four weeks) before the wedding date.

How long will you stay at our wedding?

Coverage begins during bridal preparation (at least 90 minutes before the ceremony begins) and I’ll stay right up until the first dance.

Hours before or after these times are available. We can discuss this later if you’re undecided.

Just for your peace of mind: I always leave my house with plenty of time (I hate lateness!) in a serviced car with a full tank of petrol and a fully-charged Sat-Nav.

Do you take group shots?

I recommend that group shots are kept to a minimum in order to allow your day to flow as naturally as possible, with only minimal interruptions from myself.

That said, I fully appreciate that group shots are important to some people, including relatives.

Therefore, I offer to photograph a maximum of 10 group shots. This ensures we can then get back to what really matters as quickly as possible: everybody enjoying themselves and not waiting around, feeling like they’re stood in a queue for a photo.

I would just add, however, that it’s important to remember this is YOUR wedding day. Don’t feel forced to go for a more traditional photographer who offers unlimited group shots if you’d prefer the day to flow more naturally.

Will we receive colour and/or black & white photos?

You will receive a mix of colour and black & white images after I’ve finished the editing process.

You can also choose either all colour or all black & white at no extra cost.

Do you edit all of your images?

Yes. Every image you receive will have been carefully edited using professional software.

How many images will we receive?

I will supply between 300-600 high-quality images to you within eight weeks for the All Day Coverage option.

Some photographers may offer thousands. But remember: when it comes to quality, less can actually be more!

What happens before our wedding?

A pre-wedding shoot will take place at your preferred location, if you choose this option.

I will send over a questionnaire six weeks before your wedding date which will give you the opportunity to provide me with all the additional information that I require ahead of the day itself.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

I will provide all of your edited wedding photos back to you within eight weeks. The turnaround time can often be much sooner.

You will receive a link to an online gallery when the photos have all been edited.

Can we also order photo albums with you?

You will be able to create your own timeless wedding album using Pic-Time, where you’ll have access to all of your photos.

As well as beautiful albums, you’ll also have the option to create greeting cards, calendars, frames, canvas prints and, well, just about anything else you could think of!

Are you insured?

Yes. I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
