Mote Park Pre-wedding Photography Shoot
Jenn and Mike’s relaxed pre-wedding photography shoot at Mote Park, Maidstone, Kent
Jenn and Mike were an absolute dream to photograph and it was a privilege to spend time with them getting some loved-up shots ahead of their big day in August.
I always ask couples if there’s a location particularly special to them that they’d like to go for their pre-wedding photos.
Wherever that place is - be it a beach, a local park or somewhere totally left-field - there’s always an opportunity to make beautiful images and capture special moments.
Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent, is a fantastic location for a pre-wedding shoot - especially in late afternoon/early evening when the sun begins to set.
We did a lap of the 450-acre park over the course of just over an hour and stumbled across so many amazing little spots for photo opportunities.
I’d spot a new area to stop off, we’d then quickly grab a couple of shots before continue walking, talking and having a laugh.
Above anything else, the most important thing is that the couples I work with feel totally relaxed and comfortable just being themselves.
As soon as that happens - and it’s my job to ensure it does! - feeling comfortable in front of the camera follows naturally.
