Hi - I’m Rob, a football journalist and dad of three - including my eldest Ryan (almost 7), who’s completely obsessed with the beautiful game.

Football’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - and now I’m living it all over again as a parent. From kicking a ball around the garden, to watching Ryan play his first grassroots matches and planning his “Football Legends” birthday party, I’ve realised how exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) this world can be for families.

With over 15 years in football media and a career that’s taken me from Luton Town to GiveMeSport, I created this site to share practical tips, honest stories, and soon, affordable guidance for young people who dream of becoming football writers too.
